Dirtbag Hydration in its official first days

As of 8/13, we started packaging our first run of Dirtbag Hydration High-Carb!

Last year Mike and I realized this: We didn’t have an affordable High-Carb product that was also a convenient and portable single serving option. I was riding my bike with ziplock bags full of our homemade mix looking like I was one step from exploding into a sticky cloud and one step from being a drug mule. We decided to try and make our own, having no experience in bringing a food product to market.

And here we are! Product available this weekend, website live, quickbooks set up and ready.

I’m sure there will be more time in the future to talk about the actual product, and the science (if you’re interested in that we have some stuff to say on dirtbaghydration.com) but for now I’m just wanting to say we’re excited to offer a product at a stupid-affordable price point and hopefully build a business that is authentic to its core.

I also wanted to say thank you to the small contingent of people who have been along for the ride so far and who are hear now reading these words. It’s been so inspiring and motivating to talk with you all and feel the support from people around us letting us know how pumped they are. We appreciate you all a ton and value you as our first supporters. We hope to build this into a larger business, we hope to sell a whole bunch of high-carb drink mix, we hope to be able to have a company snowmobile, and we hope to be the most expressive two guys in the world when we say thank you to you all for cheering us on in this project.
